Vice President of Safety

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Safety to provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of its safety strategy, programs, and Safety Management System. The role sets priorities for safety initiatives, advises senior leadership and the board on risks and performance, and oversees investigations and corrective actions. The Vice President partners across the organization to strengthen accountability, workplace safety, crisis preparedness, regulatory compliance, and safety culture. The position also represents the organization in external safety forums and provides strategic oversight while delegating day-to-day Safety Management System operations. Candidates should hold at least one relevant aviation credential, such as an FAA commercial pilot, airline transport pilot, airframe and powerplant, or aircraft dispatcher certificate. A bachelor’s degree in aviation or a related field is preferred, as are at least seven years in a safety-related role and four years in management. Applicants should have knowledge and operational experience with 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 operations, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
