Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership across its multi-entity organization. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow, tax compliance, and banking relationships. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in construction accounting, particularly in a multi-state environment. The successful candidate will lead and mentor the accounting team, partner with the President to offer clear financial insights, and support long-term business growth through effective financial strategy. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include leading the month-end and year-end close processes, managing intercompany eliminations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years' progressive experience in construction accounting. A CPA license or CCIFP designation is strongly preferred. The CFO must possess advanced proficiency in financial management software, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions in a complex, multi-entity environment.
