Head of Engineering, Maintenance & Engineering

The Company is in search of a Head of Engineering for Maintenance and Engineering. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading and coordinating all engineering and maintenance activities across a high-volume processing site. This pivotal role is focused on ensuring equipment reliability, site infrastructure performance, and strict adherence to food safety, health and safety, and operational standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing preventative and corrective maintenance programs, managing calibration schedules, and working closely with production and technical teams to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in food manufacturing or a similar regulated environment, with a proven track record in leadership or supervisory roles within engineering and maintenance. A strong understanding of maintenance and quality systems, as well as experience in root cause analysis, deviations, training, and documentation practices, is essential. The role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and possess strong communication and reporting skills. The Head of Engineering will also be responsible for monitoring engineering KPIs, supporting continuous improvement projects, and collaborating with both external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
