Vice President of Purchasing

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Purchasing to oversee the full spectrum of inventory procurement, vendor negotiations, and departmental leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the purchasing function, including personnel management, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring profitability through effective supplier programs and freight management. This role also involves strategic oversight of marketing and promotional execution, as well as leading strategic growth and sales support initiatives. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Purchasing include supervising and training department staff, negotiating pricing and programs with suppliers, and serving as the primary point of contact for accounts and vendors.
