Area Vice President

The Company is seeking an Area Vice President to provide strategic and operational leadership for a portfolio of student housing communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing portfolio performance through strong financial management, operational execution, leadership development, asset strategy, and client partnership. This senior leadership role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to independently assess performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop data-driven strategies. The Area Vice President will also be involved in establishing measurable business objectives, overseeing annual budgeting and capital planning, and developing regional managers and other operational leaders. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive property management experience, with at least 5 years in regional, multi-site, or portfolio-level leadership, and a similar tenure in student housing. The role demands a proven track record in leading and developing regional managers, as well as experience in improving underperforming assets. Strong financial acumen, the ability to work with ownership groups, and excellent communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, and strategic thinking, and be able to operate effectively in a high-accountability, fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant property management certifications are preferred.
