Vice President, IT Security

The Company is seeking a VP - IT Security SME to join their Security Architecture & Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and automating security processes and controls, designing scalable security solutions, and integrating security into infrastructure and application delivery pipelines. This role requires a strong understanding of information security principles, including network, infrastructure, and endpoint security, as well as hands-on experience in operating and engineering security controls across various technology domains. The VP will also be expected to have strong scripting and automation skills, particularly in Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash, and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code. Key responsibilities for the VP - IT Security SME include designing, developing, and implementing security automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk. The role involves working closely with security, infrastructure, engineering, and product teams to improve the implementation and operation of security controls. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in integrating security controls into engineering and deployment pipelines and will be adept at managing and enforcing security policies through automation. Experience in supporting the review, design, and implementation of security-related technical changes is also essential. The position is a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid workplace type, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a dynamic, global environment.
