Assistant Vice President, Custody Tax Operations Greater Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Area

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Custody Tax Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and operations management expertise to the Custody Tax Operations team, ensuring adherence to all policies, risk and controls, and regulatory and compliance requirements. This role involves driving strategic projects, efficiency initiatives, and managing senior-level communication with stakeholders and clients. The AVP will also be a key point of coordination between various teams, including Group Tax, Tax Product, IT, Change, and NFR controls, and will lead a team focused on supporting key change initiatives in Custody Tax. To succeed in this role, candidates should have a university degree and at least 3-5 years' experience in a related management position. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships with business units. The role requires a dedicated approach to teamwork, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in process management, be adept at problem-solving, and have a high level of integrity and professionalism. Experience in the securities market and a proactive approach to operational risk management are also important.
