Managing Director, Wealth & Investments

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Wealth and Investments to provide strategic leadership in its wealth management business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitable customer growth, financial performance, and regional market leadership. This role demands a leader who can ensure the business remains customer-centric, commercially sustainable, and aligned with values, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks. Key responsibilities include leading the development of innovative, Shariah-compliant wealth solutions, regional business planning, and strategic initiatives, as well as representing the business at key governance and business forums. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15-20 years' of experience in wealth management, private banking, Islamic banking, or related financial services, with a proven track record in driving regional business growth and a deep understanding of Islamic finance and Shariah-compliant wealth management. The role requires a leader with a strong commercial and strategic mindset, capable of balancing customer needs, innovation, profitability, and risk. The candidate should have extensive experience in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and a strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, governance, and Shariah requirements. The Managing Director will be expected to champion customer centricity, deliver a superior customer experience, and build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
