Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with a focus on commercial contracting, risk management, dispute resolution, and external counsel oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the full cycle of high-value regional commercial contract activities, providing strategic legal advice that aligns with business objectives and mitigates risk. This role also involves direct management of litigation strategies, dispute resolutions, and settlement negotiations, as well as overseeing external legal counsel to ensure budget and cost controls. The Senior Legal Counsel will be instrumental in cross-border compliance and governance, particularly in the areas of regulatory compliance, trade licensing, and import/export mandates across multiple SEA jurisdictions. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of post-qualification experience, with a strong background in the FMCG and manufacturing industries, and a proven track record in the regional SEA market. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in law and no additional qualifications are specified. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legal operations, be adept at driving legal SOPs, and have experience in delivering tailored legal training to enhance operational efficiency. The position demands a professional who can effectively manage corporate secretarial tasks, draft legal documents, and ensure regulatory compliance.
