Head of Billing Unit

The Company is in search of a Head of Billing Unit to oversee a team of approximately 15 employees and manage all billing activities with a strong emphasis on operational quality and process improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, supporting, and developing the team, ensuring the quality and timeliness of billing processes, and actively participating in the optimization of billing procedures and tools. This role also involves handling rejected invoices, corrections, and complex cases, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including insurers and partners. Applicants for the Head of Billing Unit position should have a proven track record in hospital billing, patient administration, or a comparable healthcare environment, with a good understanding of the Swiss healthcare system and billing procedures. Knowledge of hospital and outpatient pricing systems is a significant asset. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as a solution-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and change management. Experience in the insurance or controlling sector may also be advantageous.
