Vice President of Finance

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as its senior finance leader and a key member of the executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial direction, ensuring accurate accounting, and maintaining strong financial controls and compliance. This role involves overseeing the financial systems and practices that support the organization's various programs, including government contracts, grants, and fundraising. The Vice President of Finance will also be a principal advisor on financial matters, lead the budgeting and forecasting process, and manage the financial operations of the organization. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 8 years' of finance and accounting experience, and a proven track record in nonprofit and fund accounting. The role requires expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial reporting, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills. A CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar advanced credential is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in a multi-site organization with diverse funding streams and a commitment to the mission and values of the organization. The position demands a hands-on approach, the ability to balance strategic leadership with operational oversight, and a focus on building a collaborative, inclusive, and youth-focused culture.
