The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Product Owner, IT Data to lead the transformation of the underwriting process with a focus on data and AI. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, roadmap, and OKRs for data and AI underwriting capabilities. This includes the development of GenAI copilots, agentic workflows, predictive models, and the AIDA insights ecosystem. The role requires a deep understanding of P&C insurance, particularly in underwriting, and a proven track record in AI product delivery. The AVP will work closely with underwriting, actuarial, claims, and distribution leaders to identify and implement high-value AI use cases, and will be the key liaison between engineering and senior stakeholders. Applicants must have at least 7 years' experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a minimum of 3 years in data, analytics, or AI/ML products within a regulated enterprise. The role demands executive-grade communication, agile mastery, and technical fluency in SQL, Python, modern data stacks, BI tools, and LLM/AI platforms. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree in a related field strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be a proactive builder, comfortable with both technical and business aspects, and genuinely curious about the impact of AI on the insurance industry. Certifications in Agile methodologies and experience with insurance platforms are also desirable.
