The Company is in search of a Managing Director, Investment Grade Sector Head for the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 analysts, overseeing the ratings process, and representing the company at a senior level. This role requires a professional with a substantial background in capital markets and/or credit analysis, superior communication and influencing skills, and the ability to manage high-performing, inclusive teams. The ideal candidate will have a CFA designation, a deep understanding of the TMT sector, and a network of relationships within the debt capital markets and TMT sector. As the Managing Director, you will be expected to articulate the company's credit views and sector outlook, foster a positive and collaborative work environment, and contribute to the strategic goals of the TMT team. A healthy sense of intellectual curiosity, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a proven track record of driving change and fostering innovation are essential. The role also involves a significant amount of external engagement, including with industry management teams, private equity sponsors, and the media. A background in project and infrastructure finance, particularly in areas relevant to TMT, is a plus, and experience at a credit rating agency or in a closely related credit role is highly valued.
