Vice President of Engineering, Product Platform

The Company is seeking a VP of Engineering for its Product Platform. This leadership role is pivotal in driving the consolidation of capabilities, fostering the adoption of shared foundations, and enhancing the velocity and quality of the product. The successful candidate will be responsible for the multi-year product strategy of the product platform, leading a team of engineering managers, and defining the practical aspects of platform as a product. A key focus is on driving the consolidation of fragmented systems and shaping the external developer experience. The role requires a strategic partner who can influence company-level product planning and ensure that platform investments are aligned with business needs. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 15 years' of engineering management experience, with a strong background in platform engineering management. Fluency in domains such as identity/auth, design systems, APIs, and extensibility is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving consolidation and modernization across systems, strong technical judgment, and the ability to balance the needs of internal customers, external developers, and end-users. Executive presence is a must, as the role involves making platform investments compelling to a wide range of stakeholders. The VP of Engineering will be a key figure in the organization, with a focus on growing a leadership team and operating as a close partner to infrastructure, product management, and commercial teams.
