Vice President of Finance

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to provide senior leadership in fiscal stewardship, budget, accounting, financial strategy, and operations. The successful candidate will work closely with finance and departmental leadership to promote the financial success of the institution, lead the monthly financial reporting process, manage relationships with external auditors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in advancing the alignment of the company's clinical, research, and education missions and requires a strategic and enterprise-minded financial executive. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or CPA preferred, and a strong background in financial leadership, particularly within a large not-for-profit or academic medical center. Experience with federally sponsored research grants, professional educational programs, and Oracle ERP is strongly preferred. The role demands excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to make presentations to senior management and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. The Vice President of Finance will also be responsible for the management and leadership of various financial functions, including the annual budget, education finance, and compliance with federal research grant regulations.
