Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Engineering

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong engineering background to play a pivotal role in the organization's tech leadership. The successful candidate will be a senior leader in the tech organization, responsible for owning and driving strategic, cross-organization initiatives that are beyond the scope of individual squads. This includes platform or architecture programs, reliability and quality improvements, engineering productivity, and technical debt paydown. The role demands a technical fluency that allows for active participation in engineering discussions and decision-making, as well as the ability to lead the tech side of company-level programs. The Chief of Staff will also be instrumental in the planning and performance tracking of the tech organization, defining and calibrating tech OKRs, and maintaining a high standard of decision-making and leadership cadence. Applicants must have an engineering degree, 7-10 years' of experience in a tech organization at scale, and a proven track record of owning complex, cross-organizational initiatives. The role requires outstanding written communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders to achieve measurable outcomes. A hands-on engineering past and experience in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic role within a product-led tech company are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, autonomous, and trusted leader, capable of turning ambiguity into clear, actionable plans and earning the respect of the engineering community.
