Vice President of Engineering

The Company is seeking a VP of Engineering to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for the development and scaling of the engineering team, and ensuring that the team delivers on the company's most critical priorities. This role demands a proven engineering leader with a strong background in building and leading teams, particularly in an early-stage, high-growth environment. The VP of Engineering will be instrumental in creating and maintaining an AI-forward engineering culture, championing the use of modern AI tools and practices to enhance the team's problem-solving and value delivery to customers. Key responsibilities for the VP of Engineering include leading, coaching, and motivating a high-performing engineering team, translating company objectives into clear engineering priorities, and managing team performance. The role also involves partnering with product and other leaders to identify AI opportunities and providing strong technical judgment across various engineering domains. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on engineering leadership, and a strong technical foundation in modern cloud-based SaaS products. Experience in AI-assisted development and a Bachelor's degree in a related field are required. The VP of Engineering will be expected to build a culture of ownership, autonomy, and collaboration, and to drive the team through periods of ambiguity and changing priorities.
