Executive Director

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead one of its senior living communities. The successful candidate will be the community leader, responsible for the financial, human resource, and operations management. This role is pivotal in ensuring a warm, compassionate, and secure atmosphere that encourages independence and activity for all residents while maintaining a profitable operation. The Executive Director will oversee all community operations and departments, including resident care, business office, sales, culinary, housekeeping, activities, and maintenance. Building strong relationships with residents and families is essential, as is the ability to lead a large team and solve complex operational and people problems. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's senior living community should have a minimum of three years' of previous management experience in the senior housing industry, with a preference for those holding a college degree. Advanced computer skills, excellent communication, and a desire to work with senior adults are required. The role demands a leader with strong management skills, experience in financial oversight, and the ability to work with a diverse team. The Executive Director will be expected to be on-call 24/7 for emergency situations and must be willing to work weekends and holidays as necessary. A valid driver's license is also required, and the candidate must be able to obtain a state administrator's certification within ninety days of employment if the role involves managing an assisted living building.
