Interim Head of Finance & Facilities Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance and Facilities Operations to join their team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and operational success of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of functions, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial modeling. They will also oversee accounting operations, annual audits, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. The Head of Finance and Facilities Operations will work closely with executive leadership and the Board, providing financial analysis, projections, and strategic recommendations. Additionally, the role involves leadership in facilities management, capital projects, vendor relationships, and organizational risk management. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a CPA or MBA preferred, and at least 5 years of experience in finance and operations leadership, ideally within a nonprofit or educational environment. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in nonprofit accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as experience in leading teams and overseeing multiple financial and operational functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud-based financial systems is necessary, with experience in specific systems such as Sage Intacct and Paylocity being a plus.
