Vice President of Operations

The Company is in need of a VP of Operations to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and enhancing daily operations across various functions, including engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, scheduling, logistics, and HR. The primary focus of the role is to increase productivity, strengthen accountability, and improve operational performance while ensuring the preservation of the business's successful systems. Key responsibilities for the VP of Operations include driving continuous improvement initiatives, overseeing engineering and maintenance projects, and ensuring that on-time delivery, quality, and customer commitments are consistently met. Applicants for the VP of Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in manufacturing operations leadership, with a proven track record of success in improving productivity, equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery. The role requires a background in high mix, low volume, configure to order, or make to order manufacturing, as well as strong ERP experience in production planning, scheduling, BOMs, and routings. Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading multiple operational functions, driving accountability, and developing leaders to build a high-performance culture.
