Hiring Company
About the Role
Greater Utrecht, Netherlands Area (On-site)
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in its transformation and data-driven growth acceleration. The successful candidate will be a true business CFO with a strong background in M&A, responsible for the professionalization of the finance organization, and the design of scalable, end-to-end processes and systems. This role demands a leader with a passion for numbers, processes, and structure, who can drive efficiency and ensure a solid financial foundation for the company's rapid growth. The CFO will also be a key player in the cultural change, acting as a counter-power to the commercially strategic CEO, and will lead the finance, supply chain, IT, and M&A functions. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a university degree, be a Registered Accountant (RA/RC), and possess over 20 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years as a CFO in an entrepreneurial, medium-sized enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recurring revenue business, M&A, and ERP implementation, and experience in guiding cultural change. A 'blue' CFO, who is a process thinker, structured, organized, and disciplined, is essential. The role requires a hands-on leader with a vision, who is a true people manager, capable of building consensus and bringing people along in change. Experience in a private equity portfolio company is a plus, and the candidate should be a pleasant, positive, and down-to-earth individual with a sense of humor.
