Head of Human Resources

The Company is in search of a Head of HR to provide both strategic and practical HR leadership across its global manufacturing locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including organizational transformation, talent acquisition and development, HR management, and organizational development. A key focus of the role is on driving corporate culture and leadership transformation, as well as promoting diversity, inclusion, compliance, and ethical conduct. The Head of HR will also be involved in early talent identification, building relationships with educational and research institutions, and managing various HR processes such as performance evaluation, career counseling, and succession planning. Applicants for the Head of HR position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with a preference for those with experience in budget and departmental financial management, HR IT, automation, and AI-driven digitalization projects, and a background in restructuring. The role requires a candidate with excellent business judgment, expertise, and a strong understanding of Japanese labor law, company law, and HR best practices. Fluency in Japanese and English is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic HR and commercial areas, with at least 7 years' of practical experience, and a background in corporate culture transformation. Experience in general affairs and a background in HR shared services or business services environments are also desirable.
