Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Hiring Company
About the Role
Remote (anywhere in Australia)
The Company is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead the implementation of its new 2030 Strategy and shape the organization's future direction, capability, and impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, and organizational leadership, with a focus on strengthening the company's capability, systems, and ways of working. This role requires a senior leader with a proven track record in leading a small organization or business unit, strong strategic and operational leadership capability, and the ability to translate strategy into practical outcomes. The CEO will also be tasked with building member engagement, increasing the company's profile and influence, and ensuring strong governance, financial management, and operational performance. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should possess sound financial, governance, and risk management skills, as well as experience in leading and developing small, dispersed teams. Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, and the ability to work effectively with a Board and senior stakeholders is a must. While experience within a member-based organization, charity, fundraising, regulatory, advocacy, or broader not-for-profit environment is advantageous, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative, engaging, and values-led leadership style, and be inspired by the opportunity to lead a national organization that plays a significant role in the public fundraising sector.
