Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their team. The COO will be responsible for providing strong operational leadership and ensuring the effective execution of the organization's strategic priorities. This role involves translating organizational direction into day-to-day performance, with a focus on strengthening service delivery and driving operational effectiveness. The successful candidate will work closely with leaders and operational teams to enhance systems, processes, accountability, and collaboration, all while fostering a tenant-centered approach and a culture of continuous improvement. Candidates for the COO position at the company should be authentic and collaborative operational leaders with a proven track record in overseeing complex, multi-functional environments. Strong business and financial acumen, sound judgment, and an enterprise mindset are essential. The ideal candidate will be an emotionally intelligent and empathetic leader, capable of building and delegating teams, developing leadership capacity, and creating a culture of clear accountability. Experience in change leadership and the ability to leverage technology to improve operations and service delivery are also key. While not mandatory, experience in affordable housing, residential property management, real estate, facilities, seniors' housing, or similar asset-intensive and service-oriented environments would be an asset.
