Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to provide visionary leadership and executive management. The successful candidate will be responsible for market and business development, leading a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy, and driving membership growth and retention. This role also involves overseeing the financial performance of the organization, managing event sponsorship and membership campaigns, and ensuring the Chamber's financial stability through effective budget management and fundraising efforts. The Executive Director will serve as the primary spokesperson, championing the interests of the Black business community, and will be accountable for the Chamber's strategic planning, advocacy, and public policy initiatives. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and have a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in executive leadership, with a proven track record in strategic planning, organizational development, and financial management. The role requires a candidate with strong customer service skills, a passion for collaboration, and a drive for fundraising. Professional qualifications include a minimum of 3 years' of P&L responsibility, a working knowledge of local, regional, and state political systems, and a commitment to the success of Black-owned businesses.
