We are seeking a dynamic entrepreneur to drive the national expansion of our new career coaching and vocational reskilling platform! The Entangled Group is recruiting Outset’s Founding CEO to lead the growth of a high profile venture that enables employers, schools, and vocational partners to reskill front-line workers for success in today’s economy. In this dynamic role, you will launch the business, identify market opportunities, build excitement through brand awareness, secure key business and strategic industry partnerships, manage the development and scale of the Outset product offering, achieve revenue targets, and raise funds to establish the team and infrastructure. You have launched your own company or you have been deeply involved in the early stages of successful start-ups. You are someone who successfully explores and promotes new ideas, thinks and acts strategically, and has product development experience. You thrive in ambiguous, ever-changing environments and demonstrate a relentless commitment to and track record in meeting goals. What we do: Outset is building the bridge between employers that want to invest in their employees’ future careers and industry partners in high-growth fields who are eager to hire motivated, certified talent. Through career coaching and vocational training, we help workers transition from their current jobs to new careers in high-growth skilled trades. What you’ll do: *Design and implement product pilots to explore, validate, and iterate Outset’s product and unique value proposition and establish product-market fit. *Perform competitive landscape analyses and other forms of market research to determine market opportunities. *Secure key partnerships with corporate employers, vocational schools, and other relevant industry partners. *Create and implement a business development plan to successfully shift from pre-revenue stage toward sustainable revenue growth. *Secure funding to expand the team, develop the product(s), and establish business operations and infrastructure. *Develop and run a range of internal functions and responsibilities to successfully launch and operate the business. *Build a strong team to rapidly expand Outset’s success. You will be successful if you have: *8-12 years of experience in product management, sales, and business operations. *Experience in the launch and growth phases of startup companies, with a strong preference for candidates who have launched their own company. *Expertise in developing new products from inception to creation. *Ability to identify, assess, and react to emergent challenges and opportunities. *Demonstrable experience with B2B sales or business development. *Penchant for recruiting, building, and managing high performance teams. *Experience building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. *Industry expertise and insight in education, career transition, job placement, or career coaching. *Exposure to vocational schools or workforce development is a major plus. *Deep understanding of qualitative research, financial modeling, and marketing analysis. *A passion for Outset’s mission to empower front-line workers to pursue paths to promising new work opportunities.
