Zuro’s VP of Operations is responsible for managing and supporting the Zuro community and internal operations. You’ll ensure that processes are well documented, the staff is trained, roles & responsibilities are clearly defined, and the necessary resources are available to drive growth. Zuro’s VP of Operations will also ensure the company is compliant with outlined regulatory requirements; this entails operational oversight of 3rd party integrations and their use. This position requires deep domain experience in the FinTech (specifically payments) space. What you’ll do. Some of the things you can expect. - Report to President, managing daily business operations across the company. - Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures related to organizational objectives and implement improvements. - Manage and negotiate vendor and 3rd party relationships that tie to operational success. - Maintain and develop key business infrastructure, systems, and 3rd party platforms such as Zendesk, Slack, Asana, and Confluence. - Lead the ongoing development & documentation of business policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring their adherence. - Coordinate with Zuro’s compliance team, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to. - Zendesk analysis and reporting, identifying trends and emerging issues that inform business optimization. - Coordinate with Product & Tech teams to identify and prioritize platform issues. - Design and develop employee training and management materials. Your superpowers. - 5+ years In Operations and Project Management role in the FinTech or related Financial Services industry required. - Desire to work in a startup environment, building Operations from the ground up. - Must have an entrepreneurial spirit, very responsive, hands-on, and willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment. - Proven track record of improving organizational productivity and efficiency - Developing business cases that are the foundation to drive the decisioning and adoption of business policies and procedures - Some knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC as it relates to operational adherence. - A wiz, with solid knowledge of 3rd party platforms that enable effective business management.
