Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

The Company, a leading retailer of consumer electronics, photography, and audio-visual equipment since 1973, is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to oversee the establishment and maintenance of an enterprise-level strategy and program for the protection of physical and digital information assets and technologies. The CISO will be responsible for the overall Information security and risk management posture of the company, providing vision, strategy, and hands-on leadership in the field of cybersecurity. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems management, at least 15 years in information technology or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years in a senior security IT role. Required certifications include CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, with CRISC, CISA, CISM, and ITIL being preferred. Responsibilities for this role include defining and implementing security policies and practices, leading security incident response, guiding the information security team, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation such as PCI, GDPR, and CCPA. The CISO will also be involved in the selection of 3rd party security vendors, designing security programs, and leading the organization in identifying, developing, and maintaining processes to reduce IT risks. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience in information security technology, cloud and on-premises environments, application security, vulnerability testing, and risk management. They should be adept at maintaining the highest standard of confidentiality and have the ability to manage multifaceted projects while performing regular activities.
