Head of Internal Audit

The Company is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to lead the transition from an outsourced model to an in-house function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the handover process, establishing the Internal Audit Charter and methodology, and developing a risk-based, multi-year audit plan. This role requires maintaining independence and objectivity, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Head of Internal Audit will also be involved in providing independent reviews of various financial and regulatory aspects, including capital, liquidity, and risk management, and will oversee the internal Shari'ah review and technology governance. Applicants for the Head of Internal Audit position at the company should have a strong background in internal auditing, particularly within the financial services sector. Experience in leading the establishment of an in-house internal audit function and a deep understanding of FSRA and IIA Global Internal Audit Standards are essential. The role demands a high level of expertise in areas such as AML/CFT/PF sanctions, anti-financial crime systems, and technology governance, including cyber security and data management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in providing independent assurance and be adept at managing and mitigating conflicts of interest. A thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to ensure compliance in all audit-related activities is a must.
