President

The Company is seeking a President to provide strategic leadership and disciplined execution. The role calls for an accomplished, relationship-centered executive who can deliver organizational or economic development results and manage complex public-private projects. The President will apply strong political judgment and credibility while advancing recruitment, business expansion, site development, incentives, and workforce initiatives. Success requires effective project management, problem-solving, communication, and the ability to build relationships in a rapidly growing or similarly complex environment. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and have significant progressive experience in economic development or a related field; equivalent education and executive experience may be considered. Leadership experience within an economic development organization is preferred, while public-private, government, utility, or regional leadership experience is relevant. Knowledge of Georgia’s economic development landscape and established relationships are desirable. Candidates without those connections should demonstrate an ability to build a strong network quickly.
