Senior Vice President, Asset-Based Lending Originator

Greater Atlanta, GA Area
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Asset-Based Lending Originator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating geographic-based asset-based transactions and providing expert advice to clients and prospects on capital structure and financing alternatives. This role involves close collaboration with underwriting and portfolio management to ensure the smooth progression of transactions from origination to closure. The SVP will also be expected to drive revenue through targeted client and prospect engagement, demonstrate subject matter expertise, and mentor junior team members. Adherence to risk and compliance policies, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, is essential. Applicants for this position at The Company should have a BA/BS degree, with a preference for those holding an MBA with a finance focus, and 5-10 years' of experience in asset-based lending. The role requires a solid understanding of industry drivers, product positioning, structuring, and risk mitigation, as well as experience with the ABL syndication process. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaboration across functional areas, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster a team environment based on trust, creativity, and accountability. The SVP will be expected to demonstrate the company's values and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
