Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Foundation Greater Austin, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its Foundation. The CEO will provide executive leadership and work closely with the Foundation Board of Directors to set and achieve strategic goals. This role is accountable for the Foundation's philanthropic performance, organizational effectiveness, financial sustainability, governance, and community impact. The successful candidate will lead an integrated fundraising enterprise, including various giving levels and will be the primary external representative of the Foundation. Responsibilities also include ensuring that charitable resources are managed with integrity, transparency, and in accordance with donor intent. Candidates for the CEO position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years of leadership experience in philanthropy, advancement, fundraising, or a related area. The role requires a proven track record in developing and leading significant philanthropic strategies, as well as experience in partnering with governing boards, executive leaders, and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have executive-level communication skills, the ability to translate complex priorities into philanthropic opportunities, and experience in a healthcare or similarly accountable institution. A background in leading a healthcare foundation or a comparable nonprofit enterprise is also preferred. The CEO will be responsible for talent management, organizational leadership, and ensuring that the Foundation operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
