Assistant Vice President, Fund Accounting Greater Bengaluru, India Area

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Fund Accounting to manage daily service delivery and production across functional teams. Responsibilities include serving as the primary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring accurate fund calculations and service-level performance, and coordinating with teams across functions and locations. The role also oversees controls, records, audits, regulatory change assessments, and the implementation of new funds, systems, processes, and client conversions. The successful candidate will lead, coach, and develop staff; manage performance and staffing decisions; and contribute to operational improvements and organizational initiatives. Candidates should have at least 12 years of overall experience, including five or more years in fund accounting management or supervision, with substantial hedge fund accounting experience. A bachelor’s degree in commerce, economics, accounting, finance, or a related field is required; a graduate degree is preferred. Strong knowledge of mutual and hedge fund accounting, NAV calculations, yields, corporate actions, accruals, reconciliations, securities, and trading instruments is essential. The role also calls for proven leadership, analytical and problem-solving ability, sound judgment, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and proficiency with relevant software.
