The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Hedge Fund Accounting to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing the daily workflows of all client deliverables within the Fund Services team. This role involves close collaboration with Client Service Managers in various regions and requires a professional with a strong background in the administration of alternative funds, particularly hedge funds, and NAV calculations. Key responsibilities include reviewing and preparing NAVs, cash/position/market value reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of corporate actions and pricing. The AVP will also be involved in client communication, month-end processes, and providing support during audits. Applicants for the AVP position should have a minimum of 9 years' experience in hedge fund administration or a related industry, with a focus on the investment management or finance sector. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with additional qualifications such as CA, MBA, or CFA being a plus. The role demands a critical thinker with excellent attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Experience with general ledger accounting, and familiarity with Paxus, is advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, performance appraisal, and a commitment to the growth and development of their team.
