The Company is seeking a Principal Engineer to join their team. This challenging role is focused on designing and engineering software with a primary objective of enhancing the customer or user experience. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the company's architecture, design, and engineering center of excellence, and will be instrumental in improving the overall software engineering capability. Stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to develop technical talents are also integral to the position. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust technology designs. This includes working with software engineers to prototype and produce innovative ideas, engaging with architects to validate and leverage designs, and leading the automation of build, test, and deployment activities. The role also involves defining and providing oversight of engineering and design solutions, working within a platform or feature team, and driving common usability across products and domains. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in software engineering, design, and architecture, particularly within a DevOps and Agile framework, and possess strong skills in Python or Java back-end engineering, as well as expertise in generative and agentic AI using AWS services.
