The Company is seeking a VP, UI/UX Design to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the firm's front-end software solutions, with a focus on designing and implementing high-quality, scalable UI components and design systems. This role requires a strong partnership with product managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, responsive web experiences. The VP will also be actively involved in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including automated testing and user acceptance testing, and will be expected to write clean, type-safe code, and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high standards of maintainability and performance. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, with 7-11 years of professional experience in front-end web development, ideally within financial services. Proficiency in React and TypeScript is essential, as is hands-on experience with modern frameworks and state management libraries. A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and RESTful API integration, as well as experience with version control systems, particularly Git, is required. The role also demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-augmented development tools, familiarity with wealth management concepts, and proficiency with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
