Fractional Head of Finance & Operations

The Company is in search of a Head of Finance and Operations to join their team. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong background in e-commerce and direct-to-consumer business models. This senior role requires a leader who can combine strategic financial leadership with FP&A expertise, and who is adept at translating financial and commercial data into insights that drive business growth. The Head of Finance and Operations will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function, providing commercially focused analysis of business performance, and developing meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making. They will also oversee an established finance team, ensure financial control and reporting, and act as a trusted commercial partner to the senior leadership team. Applicants for the Head of Finance and Operations position at the company should have a hands-on, adaptable approach, and be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to challenge and influence, and a commercially astute mindset. Experience in preparing Board packs, managing a finance team, and a strong understanding of e-commerce trading disciplines and KPIs are essential.
