Chief Information Officer (CIO) Greater Boston, MA Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its information technology function and align technology strategy with organizational goals. Responsibilities include managing teams across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and support; overseeing technology systems and services; and leading digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, customer experience, and innovation. The CIO will ensure cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and collaborate with executives to deliver scalable solutions. The role also involves assessing emerging technologies and their potential value to the organization. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience. They should bring a proven record of developing and executing business-aligned IT strategies, strong knowledge of infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, and experience leading large teams and complex projects. An MBA or relevant master’s degree, industry experience, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL are preferred. Strong strategic, communication, collaboration, financial, and leadership skills are essential, as is familiarity with cloud platforms and emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.
