Vice President of Clinical Operations

The Company is in search of a VP, Clinical Operations to take on a pivotal role in the advancement of its innovative pipeline. This executive will be responsible for building, scaling, and leading the Clinical Operations organization, with a focus on both strategic leadership and hands-on engagement in the details of clinical program management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in clinical operations, including the ability to set and execute operational strategies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance and budgetary goals are met. The role demands a leader who can drive innovation, establish functional excellence, and shape a culture of quality, accountability, and collaboration. Candidates for the VP, Clinical Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree in life sciences or a related field preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive clinical operations experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Experience in specialty development areas such as hematology, blood disorders, or rare diseases is desirable. The role requires a leader who can seamlessly transition between executive-level strategy and hands-on execution, and who has a proven ability to deliver global clinical trials across multiple phases. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing change, making sound decisions in the face of ambiguity, and will be instrumental in shaping the future of the company's clinical operations function.
