The Company is in search of a Senior Data Lakehouse Architect to spearhead the design and development of a Legal Data Lakehouse platform. This pivotal role involves driving the architecture, engineering, and governance of scalable, secure, and compliant data capabilities to support various legal operations, including contract intelligence, eDiscovery, and AI/ML use cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the end-to-end data lakehouse architecture, designing multi-layered data architecture, and establishing ingestion frameworks for both structured and unstructured legal data. Additionally, the role requires leading the development of ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating with enterprise platforms, and ensuring data governance, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark. Strong expertise in AWS-based data platforms and a deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments are essential. The role also demands experience in working with unstructured data and NLP/document processing pipelines. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical discipline is required, and relevant certifications in Databricks and AWS are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in legal, compliance, financial services, or other regulated industries, and experience in supporting legal AI use cases.
