The Company is seeking a Wealth Transaction Monitoring Lead, Vice President to join their Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and deployment of suspicious activity monitoring models specific to the Wealth and broker-dealer business. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in suspicious activity monitoring within a broker-dealer or Wealth business environment, with a focus on data analysis, data modeling, and risk identification. The Lead will be instrumental in developing, testing, and implementing models and tools to mitigate financial crime risks, and will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and regulators to ensure the effectiveness of transaction monitoring controls. Applicants for this role at the company should have a strong background in SQL and Python, and a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline. An advanced degree is preferred. The role demands a candidate with a deep understanding of AML and transaction monitoring, as well as experience in engineering state-of-the-art models and integrating them with other AML functions. Proficiency in Agile software development methodology, Databricks, and related database tools is also preferred.
