Vice President, Project Management Lead Greater Buffalo, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Project Management Lead to direct complex, multifaceted projects and contribute to business strategy through expertise in risk, change management, and technology. The role involves defining project scope and objectives, developing plans aligned with stakeholder needs, and driving delivery against agreed outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, budgets, risks, and dependencies; producing management reports; and communicating milestones, issues, and escalations. The successful candidate will promote effective project practices, manage change control, resolve problems, and build strong working relationships across project teams and stakeholders. Candidates should have 6–10 years of project management experience, preferably in mortgage or financial services, along with risk experience and strong change-management and AI literacy. Risk consulting experience is an advantage. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred; PMP certification is strongly preferred, with Six Sigma considered a plus. Applicants should be skilled in project planning, metrics, root-cause analysis, scope and risk management, and stakeholder communication, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
