The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across various domains, including people and organizational development, student life, digital services, and estates and facilities. This executive will be responsible for leading organizational transformation, aligning workforce planning with institutional priorities, and driving improvements in services, systems, and the estate. A key focus will be on supporting financial sustainability, strengthening staff engagement, and ensuring that students receive inclusive, accessible support. The role also requires the ability to build constructive relationships with trade unions and effectively oversee risk and business continuity. Applicants for the Chief Operating Officer position at the company should have a proven track record of executive-level experience in a large, complex organization, with a history of leading multiple professional services functions and delivering measurable change.
