The Company is in search of an AVP, Security Architect to join their dynamic Information Security team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the security aspects of M&As, data, cloud, and on-prem security architectures. This role demands a professional with a broad technical security background, particularly in security design, detection, prevention, and response to security threats. The AVP Security Architect will be responsible for maturing network, infrastructure, and data security capabilities, serving as a subject matter expert on industry best practices, and creating top-tier security architecture designs. Collaboration with various teams to ensure the security of environments and the development of security standards is a key part of the job. Applicants should have a minimum of 6 years' experience in information security and IT risk management, with a strong technical foundation, and at least 2 years' experience in M&A integrations. A deep understanding of security controls, guidelines, and standards is essential. The role requires a self-driven individual with excellent consulting, negotiating, and communication skills, who can remain calm under pressure and is adept at managing multiple tasks. While not mandatory, certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, or GIAC, and experience with AWS and security-related services, are highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences, and committed to the values of integrity, creativity, and continuous improvement.
