The Company is seeking a Vice President for Deposit Operations in Community Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, management, and expansion of business account relationships within the community bank commercial real estate team. This role involves partnering closely with customers to understand their financial objectives and providing tailored deposit, treasury management, and cash management solutions. The VP will focus on strengthening existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and deepening client engagement to grow the overall deposit and treasury management portfolio. Essential job functions include collaborating with internal partners to deliver a comprehensive banking experience, managing the deposit portfolio, driving deposit growth, and ensuring sound banking practices. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, or commensurate experience, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, strategic planning, and sales within a financial institution. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of finance, credit analysis, and bank products, as well as superior analytical, logistical, and communication skills. The VP will be expected to problem-solve, exercise discretion, and judgment, and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Professional acumen is essential for discussing complex issues with substantial real estate owners and developers. The position demands a candidate who can operate customary business equipment and technology and is adept at using Microsoft Office.
