Vice President of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to oversee financial operations and lead a high-performing accounting team. Responsibilities include directing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate general ledger records and reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role leads monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and the month-end close, coordinates internal and external audits, and partners with leadership on budgeting and financial planning. The Vice President will also develop staff, analyze financial trends and risks, and contribute to asset-liability management and investment oversight. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least five years of experience leading an accounting function or department. Strong expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and budget planning is required; experience in a financial institution is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate sound judgment, independent problem-solving, and the ability to coach and develop accounting teams. A CPA designation is highly preferred.
