Managing Director, Restructuring

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to lead client engagements involving complex turnaround and restructuring situations, both in and out of court. Responsibilities include directing financial analyses and evaluating restructuring alternatives, managing project plans and deliverables, and negotiating credit agreement waivers, amendments, and other terms. The role also involves presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders, maintaining executive client relationships, overseeing engagement quality, and developing staff. Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant restructuring or distressed-business experience in a professional services or consulting environment, along with hands-on experience developing or overseeing integrated three-statement and 13-week cash flow models. An undergraduate degree is required; advanced degrees and relevant professional certifications are preferred. Strong negotiation, financial analysis, communication, and judgment are essential, as is the ability to lead change, manage risks, and deliver sound recommendations under tight deadlines and with incomplete information. Candidates should be adaptable in fast-paced, complex environments and able to work extended hours and travel as needed.
