The Company is seeking a Vice President - Data Privacy Officer to lead and oversee its data protection program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organization processes personal data in compliance with all relevant data protection rules, including but not limited to, ISO 10012:2017, GDPR, and the India Data Privacy Bill. This role involves managing and monitoring compliance, performing regular assessments, and working with various teams to ensure adherence to data protection standards. The VP - DPO will also be the main point of contact with data protection authorities and will be accountable for the timely implementation of data privacy programs, incident reporting, and policy updates. Applicants for the VP - DPO position at the company should hold a graduate degree in IT, computer science, or an equivalent field, and possess relevant certifications such as CIPP, CDPSE, CIPM, ISO 12001, DSCI Certified Privacy Professional, or equivalent. The role requires experience in technical training, stakeholder management, and a strong background in IT programming or infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in dealing with business and external stakeholders, conducting audits, and implementing data privacy programs.
