Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Greater Des Moines, IA Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer and President to provide strategic leadership, advance its mission, and oversee organizational growth, financial sustainability, and overall performance. The CEO will lead the senior leadership team, develop and execute strategy, and guide business development, operational effectiveness, risk management, and organizational culture. Responsibilities include building partnerships, overseeing people and volunteer strategies, directing marketing and communications, and representing the organization in the community. The CEO will also serve as the primary liaison to the Board, supporting effective governance and providing timely information on performance, finances, risks, and strategic initiatives. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred. At least seven years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including senior or executive-level responsibility, is required, along with experience leading a complex organization, executing strategic plans, managing multiple functions, and developing high-performing teams. Strong financial, business, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is experience working effectively with a board of directors. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to the organization’s Christian mission and values, including active involvement in an evangelical church community.
