Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to lead its operations and enhance the member experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the club's operations, including developing and implementing policies, and procedures, and strategic plans. The GM/COO will be expected to work closely with the Board, engage with members and staff, and ensure the club's vision is relevant and well-constructed. The role demands a leader with a strong financial acumen, the ability to attract and retain a high-performing team, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' of progressive leadership experience in a private member-owned club or high-end resort operation, a proven track record of success, and a passion for service excellence. Candidates for the GM/COO position at the company should be highly energetic, disciplined, and visionary leaders with a hands-on approach. They must have a strong history of success in operational management, particularly in food and beverage and golf operations, and a demonstrated ability to foster a culture of quality service and attention to detail. The role requires a professional with a servant's heart, capable of inspiring and mentoring a team, and with a focus on building and maintaining a strong employer of choice culture. Educationally, a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred, and industry certifications are encouraged. The GM/COO will also be expected to have a strong background in financial management, including P&L responsibility, and experience in strategic and capital project execution. The position is pivotal in ensuring the club remains a premier destination, and the candidate should be a creative problem solver, a thought partner with the Board, and a champion of the club's inclusive and warm hospitality culture.
